FCD understands that under the Management of Health and Safety Regulations 1999,3 that as employers of drivers you have a responsibility to manage the Health and Safety of your employees effectively. You must carry out an Assessment of the risk to your drivers Health and Safety, while they are at work and to other people who may be affected by their work activities. i.e. other road users like, pedestrians, cyclists etc. The regulations require you to periodically review your Risk Assessment Programmes so that it remains appropriate and up to date.
